South Bank is known as one of Brisbane’s most iconic dining, leisure and cultural precincts.  In 2017, South Bank celebrated its 25^th birthday and Lingo PR & Digital was engaged to assist with the delivery of this milestone.

Focusing on South Bank’s Picnic In The Parklands celebrations on Sunday 8 October 2017, we provided the following deliverables:

• Secure significant media coverage announcing Southbank’s 25^th Anniversary celebrations; positioning Southbank as an ideal place to relax and unwind
• Provide on- site media management assistance on the day
• Provide on-site stage management assistance on the day
• Contribute to briefings for MPs and dignitaries attending at the event

Project Outcomes  

• 140 media clips were secured for Southbank’s 25^th birthday celebrations with a combined audience reach of 970,000
• The increased media interest in the event as a result of this campaign is reflected in the extensive media coverage leading up to and following the anniversary which included a three-page commemorative spread in Q Weekend Magazine (The Courier Mail)
• ASR value of $230,882
• 8 attending news crews and media outlets on the day
