Eat Local Month 2023

Eat Local Month is a four-week celebration of the people, places and produce of the stunning Scenic Rim region. Lingo PR & Digital was engaged to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy for the 2023 event.

Located one hour south of Brisbane and one hour from the Gold Coast is the Scenic Rim, a region known for its natural beauty, world heritage listed parks and rich agricultural and grazing land.

Eat Local Month is the Scenic Rim’s flagship celebration of the region’s Eat Local brand and food production philosophy.

The four-week celebration garners national media attention and features more than 130 events delivered in partnership with industry including long lunches, degustations, dinners, workshops, meet the maker events and more.

Visitors can pluck produce fresh from the ground, take farm tours, pat sheep, meet camels and hear the stories of Scenic Rim producers.

Lingo PR & Digital was engaged by Scenic Rim Regional Council to develop and deliver a digital marketing strategy for the 2023 event.

  • Improve sales conversion data to enable organisers to make informed advertising decisions
  • Increase the profile of Eat Local Month
  • Develop and grow the events digital marketing database
  • Improve EDM communications
  • Storyboard and create promotional materials including video campaign
  • Upskill operators to be able to promote and market their events

  • Total video views of 324,080
  • Grew email subscribers database by 212%
  • Increased website visitation by 120%
  • Increased website engagement by 66%
  • Over 75% of events sold out or reached their attendance target
