Escape In The Scenic Rim

Escape in the Scenic Rim is a month long celebration of some of the most precious and spectacular areas of the world.

Over 55 nature and adventure-based events and activities were hosted from 29 April to the 29 May, 2022 allowing visitors to explore the region’s world renowned rainforests and parklands, discover diverse landscapes and wildlife and participate in a range of events from 4WD adventuring to hang gliding, bush walking, art, meditation and yoga.

Lingo PR & Digital was engaged by Scenic Rim Regional Council to develop and deliver a digital marketing strategy for the campaign.

Project Deliverables:

  • Develop and cost a strategic digital marketing plan for the campaign
  • Produce a promotional video suitable for social media and broadcast
  • Media buying and negotiations
  • Action each element of the digital marketing campaign on Council’s behalf
  • Design and distribute a series of email marketing campaigns
  • Place a geofence around the LGA area to track visitor data during the campaign timeframe
  • Provide data and an outcomes report following the conclusion of the campaign

  • Reached an audience of over 338,000 people within the defined geo area
  • Grew Facebook audience by 258%
  • Grew email marketing database by 1,435%
  • Captured over 42,632 views of the promotional video
  • Regional visitation during the event period up by 111%
