Queensland X-Ray, has opened their new state-of-the-art medical imaging practice in Helensvale’s new GC North Medical Hub, located at Homeworld Helensvale, 502 Hope Island Road, Helensvale.
Backed by Sonic Healthcare, an ASX top-50 listed company, the new practice offers the latest state-of-the-art technology and equipment at the new practice, including CT, OPG, digital mammography, ultrasound, plain x-ray and future MRI services.
The 600sqm specialised fit out has been designed to ensure the best patient care, with systems and processes in place to protect the privacy of patients at all times.
Queensland X-Ray General Manager Peter Davis advised the Helensvale location offers patients easy access and ample free car parking.
Peter said “Our goal for this new practice, together with our existing Gold Coast Private Hospital, Southport and Airport Central practices is to provide residents and referring doctors with industry leading technology and the highest quality patient care,” he said.
“Importantly, we want to ensure the local community can affordably utilise our services so we have committed to bulk billing the majority of Medicare-rebatable studies,” he said.
Peter advised the group was attracted to GC North Medical Hub due to its central location within the Gold Coast’s growing northern suburbs.
“Services within the adjacent Homeworld Helensvale Centre, good access for patients and convenient, covered parking were also strong considerations when choosing the location for this practice,” he added.
Leasing executive for Homeworld Helensvale, Joe Prescott, advised that Queensland X-Ray was a flagship tenancy for the new $20 million-dollar development, part of the highly successful mixed-use Homeworld Helensvale property.
Said Joe, “Homeworld Helensvale opened in 2008 and is now considered the largest and most successful mixed-use, large format centre on the Gold Coast.
“The centre boasts 60 tenants and attracted over 1.8 million visitors over the last financial year.
“The GC North Medical Hub and its adjacent Dining Quarter are Stage 6 of the long-term masterplan for Homeworld Helensvale.
“The development has been designed to provide accessible medical and holistic health services for the booming northern Gold Coast catchment.”
Joe advised the 2,646 GFA Stage 6 development was now 70% leased with the likes of Artisan Aesthetic Clinics and Guzman Y Gomez also open within the precinct.
When complete, the development will offer a mix of medical consulting, dining and retail tenancies.
Said Joe, “The long-term vision for Homeworld Helensvale is to create a central, community hub for northern residents offering the Gold Coast’s best mix of retail and dining experiences as well as a host of medical and professional conveniences.”
Plans for Stages 7 through 10 at Homeworld include a further 20,000 sqm of showroom, retail, medical and leisure tenancies.
