Coffee, Kilts And A Spot Of Bagpipes

We had a great time working with The Gathering today where coffee, kilts and a spot of the bagpipes made for a great start to the morning!

Over 10,000 people are expected to head to the Ipswich Turf Club this weekend for The Gathering, Queensland’s largest Celtic celebration.

The colourful festival will run over two days and includes Celtic music, the Queensland Pipe Band Championship, strongman games, highland dancing, Spanish fencing and medieval re-enactments.

Festival goers can sample haggis, learn how to bagpipe and even pat a “hairy coo” aka a fluffy Highland cow or Irish Wolfhound.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the gate or online at gatheringfestival.com.au.
